What is Nra?
NRA stands for National Rifle Association of America. It is a not-for-profit organization in the United States. The main motive of the organization is to promote the firearm, recreational hunting and self defense training operations and aware the people regarding the same. The organization certifies the training courses in firearm safety, police and hunting. NRA comprises more than 5 million members. The organization was established on November 17, 1871. It was founded with the extreme efforts of Civil War Gen. Ambrose Burnside. The NRA administration comprises seventy-six member board of directors, headed by the President. The organization keeps its members updated with latest firearms bill, through its magazine, The American Rifleman. In 1934, NRA gave birth to the Legislative Affairs Division.
