What is Cnac?
CNAC is completely registered as China National Aviation Corporation, an investment holding alliance which is mainly based on air transportation and other related services. Its key service include passenger and freighter services and cargo air transportation services. In addition, China National Aviation Corporation(CNAC) specializes in airport ground handling services, logistics services and air catering services. CNAC provides its services in all major countries of Asia region.
CNAC is operated as a flagship company of Air China Limited and is headquartered in Lantau, Hong Kong. CNAC was founded by Curtiss-Wright as China Airways in 1929. It commenced its operation under the leadership of Clement Melville Keys. In 1933, the company sold to Pan American Airways. In 1937, the company name changed into China National Aviation Company (CNAC). CNAC has service network between Macau and 26 destinations in Asia. Some major destinations include Beijing, Haikou, Kunming, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Taipei, Bangkok, Manila, Seoul, Gwangju, Okayama, Tokyo and Dhaka. As of end 2005, CNAC had 18 aircrafts.
