Cold Stone Creamery was started in 1988 by Susan and Donald Sutherlan. It commenced its operation with its first store located in Tempe, Arizona. Cold Stone Creamery was listed at 11th number in 2006 according to Entrepreneur magazine. Cold Stone Creamery has made the partnership with other brands of ice-cream chain in 2008 to increase its existence in the United States.
