The main subsidiary of Gerber is Gerber Life Insurance Company. The headquarters of the company is situated in Fremont, Michigan, United States of America.
The product line of the company mainly consists of the manufacturing of nutrition products taken during the pregnancy Stage
and for various growth stages of child. Its majorly makes products for new born baby, supported sitter baby, sitter baby, crawler baby, toddler baby, toddler 2+ baby. These nutrition products are available in all the states of the United States. The 83% of the baby food market in the United States is covered by Gerber. Initially, the products of the company were sold in the glass jars, but it was in the year 2003, the company started using plastic tubes for some fruits and vegetables. The company also started its life insurance service in 1967 mainly focused on young families.
The company was founded in the year 1927 and within the one year of its foundation, the founder launched its five products in the market that are spinach, prunes, beef vegetable soup, carrots and strained peas.
