What is Vtac?
VTAC is an acronym for Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre, which is an administrative body that takes care of the student applications for higher education in tertiary institutions, TAFE, special entry schemes at universities and independent tertiary colleges in the state of Victoria. VTAC selects student applications which are eligible to take admissions and reject others and the list of qualified students, may have listed up to 12 preferences for tertiary courses in the state. After processing, the selected applications are sent to the institutions which then select the students to undertake a course.
