What is Texas A and M Qatar?
Texas A&M University at Qatar is a state university branch campus of Texas A&M University. This campus was opened in the year 2003 in Education City, Al Rayyan, Qatar that covers an area of 2,400 acres. Texas A&M University at Qatar campus offers numerous undergraduate and graduate programs in the fields of science, petroleum engineering, liberal arts, computer engineering, chemical engineering and mechanical engineering. Texas A&M University is commonly known as A&M or TAMU, a flagship coeducational public academic and research university that was formed in 1876. It was the first public institution of higher education in Texas. Texas A&M University is among the top six largest institutions in the United States measured by student enrollment. It serves more than 56,256 students including 44,570 undergraduates and 10,962 postgraduates.The university offers bachelor's, master's and doctor degree level courses in more than 150 fields of study through its ten colleges namely- College of Geosciences, College of Liberal Arts, School of Public Health, Dwight Look College of Engineering, College of Science, Mays Business School, College of Agriculture & Life Sciences and College of Architecture. Its main campus is located on 5,500 acres in College Station City, Texas, USA.
