What is Mississippi State Police Department?
The Mississippi State Police Department is a state police agency that protects people from the thefts, abuse and neglect done by criminals. The Police Department develops safety measures and builds partnerships with various communities to provide a safe homeland for the people of Mississippi. The Department offers many programs and services such as bike patrolling, Resident Hall Adopt-a-Cop, Operation Identification, Community Police Officers and Library Patrolling. It is the part of Department of Public Safety that helps promote development of healthy lifestyles.
