The company was actually founded on 12th of June, 1905, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, United States with the name Lincoln National Life Insurance Company. The name Lincoln was suggested by an entrepreneur Perry Randall. The company was named after the name of Abraham Lincoln. The company had overtaken one of the largest books collection of the United States about Abraham Lincoln in the year 1929. Later it was in the year 1999 that the headquarters of the company was shifted to Center City, Philadelphia. The 2000
