History
The KitchenAid was founded in 1914 by Herbert Johnson, an engineer working at the
Hobart Corporation. The Hobart Corporation produces its first stand mixers named as H-5. The model was lunched for industrial work. The U.S. Navy ordered H-5 mixers for three new Tennessee-class battleships named as the California and the Tennessee and also for first Navy dreadnought battleship called the South Carolina. Later, in 1917 this model was made mandatory for all U.S. Navy ships. The company began manufacturing blenders and other small appliances in the
Mid of year 1990. The brand started gaining popularity and promoted by sponsors for the PBS
