I read your article recently about "recovering stolen items". My home was broken into about six months ago. Stolen were 13 guns, many knives and about $10, 000 in coins. I had the serial numbers of the guns and reported them to the police. Coins do not have any serial numbers. I was told that even though the serial numbers were reported, any gun shop and pawn shop or coin dealer would have to be paid for the goods because they are innocent parties in the thief. Thank god, someone stepped up and paid the gun dealers and i got back the guns, but not so fortunate on the knives, most of them were sold right away and no recovery was possible. The coin dealer was the worst one. The person that stole them told me they were all taken to one coin shop and he only gave me 1/10th of the coins that he bought. I was paid for the coins by a 3rd party and the coin dealer ended up with 90% the coins for free. Even today, i remember coins that i forgot to include in my report. The coin dealer said that was all the coins the person brought in. I know better because there were sets of coins and i got back half the sets. He just threw in some coins and said that was all. Never trust a coin dealer.

I bought a car from Jake Sweeneys. Smart car. And its been messed up from the beginning. They had me drop off my down payment there at there store when it should have gone to rge loan company. Now number One wants to give it to them. Just keep getting the run around and they want to repo my car for nonpayment.

GM Howard I send a e-mail yesterday to you about Mr. Darling home improvement, they started on my porch in March and never came back to fix it, my house is a i sore to the neighbor hood, i have call him several times and he told me he was coming and never showed up. My husband also gave him $2000. 00 for materials to buy for the porch. So can you help us pleased. I have five wooden stablizer bins holding up my porch that they put in.

Hi Howard I'm having trouble getting help, the Indiana state hwy department back in 1946 they put a Calvert across the road in front of our property and put a large clay piping down the side of our property, witch our home sets about 15 foot away from it. Now there's a huge sink hole close to the home and our foundation is cracking because of it. I've talked over and over they sent a guy out from the local office and he was extremely nasty with me that didn't go to well, but it has been around a year now really need your help please.

Hello Sir, I am having issues with a collection agency directed to me from a check cashing merchant that I had recently gotten a loan from. (over the last year)I had a layoff and did not pay them back on time. The check cashing institution sent me to a collection agency that called me on a weekly bases. The collection agency was named Integrity Acquisition INC. I paid this agency a sum of $1000. 00 over three three pay periods. I have the dates and amounts on my bank statement. I also have copies of an E sign receipt sent VIA e-mail. The check cashing agency says that I still owe them the funds that I borrowed. I have tried calling the phone number listed on my receipt and bank statements, but the number is not a working number. I have tried looking up the company on Google and the same address appears, but no phone number. The check cashing agency says that I still owe them. I am currently out of a $1000. 00 and not for sure of how I should handle this. I would be grateful for feed back (HELP) Thanks Palette.

I feel as my rights as a patient are not being addressed. This goes beyond the doctors. Doctors have been practicing medicine for 100's of years if not longer. Now congress and legislature take away the ability of practicing what they went to school for. It has taking the meaning out of what they've been doing. Believe it or not it affects their performance on a a professional level. Not to mention neglects the needs of their patients.

Dear Howard, I am a resident of Cincinnati Metropolitan housing and I have a complaint about CMHA, I have lived in public housing for two years and over the two years my rent has been deducted from my checking, On several occasions CMHA has deducted too much money the most recent is this month they deducted $513. 00 instead of $171. 00 which in return left me negative 4. 00. When trying to contact CMHA either know one answers the phone or they pass the buck to someone else. This is not acceptable. Now this is Friday, Sept nine, and I have called and called and know one still has got back with me. I am 60 years old and I do live on social security I have no money for my bills or medication and I get no response once again. I have always paid my rent and have been a good tenant When my checking account becomes negative and bills need to be paid and they cannot get paid because the money is not available that causes overdraft fees. This is not the first time this has happened and I do not understand how this happens to me . I'm just trying to pay my rent. In June, July and August they did not take rent out and I received an eviction notice, After several attempts I finally had the situation handled. So this month I checked to see if money was deducted from checking and as of September 8th is was not, I spoke with the office severals times after calling from the beginning of the month. I was told yesterday that it was scheduled to be drawn on the 8th, I called my bank this morning and my account was negative 4. 00 I called the office starting at ten am and once again was told there was no one in the office that someone would call me back Now I am getting upset because they do not see this as a major problem and have left me high and dry. It is 2;00pm and the office will close at 4'30 I will not be able to have this resolved after 4'30. If they can take the wrong amount out they can put the correct amount back in. This is not acceptable and would appreciate if you could help. Thank's.
