The company launched its several vehicles in the market under its brand name such as Super Splendor, Xtreme, Achiever, Glamour, Maestro, Karizma ZMR, Pleasure and others. It offers variety of motorcycles with different engine capacities like 100 cc, 125 cc, 150 cc, 225 cc and others.
The company's history began in 1956, when Munjal brothers started their business of manufacturing bicycles in Ludhiana, Punjab, India under the name of Hero Cycles Limited. In 1984 The Hero Group (India) and Honda Motor Company (Japan) signed an agreement to form the Hero Honda Motors Limited in Dharuhera, India. After congregation, the company reintroduced as Hero Honda Motors Limited and launched its first motorcycle CD 100 under the brand named as Hero Honda in the year 1985. The Hero Group (India) and Honda Motor Company (Japan) works together till 2010 and manufactures several automobiles. In 2010, the Hero Group (India) and Honda Motor Company (Japan) decided to work separately and on July 29, 2011, the company changed its name as Hero MotoCorp Limited.
