Haas Pavilion is a sports arena, which is situated at University of California, United States. The full name of the Arena is Walter A. Haas, Jr. Pavilion. It was opened in 1933 as a Men's Gym, but in 1959, its name has been changed to Harmon Gym. Haas Pavilion was renovated in 1999. The arena is currently owned and operated by University of California, Berkeley. Haas Pavilion was designed by George W. Kelham. The arena has capacity of about 11,877 people. University of California is a public research university, which was established on March 23, 1868 and it offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Robert J. Birgeneau is the present chancellor of the university and the total area of the university is about 6,679 acres.
