What is Greater London Authority?
The Greater London Authority is a Local authority of the Greater London. It is headed by Mayor of London. The Greater London Authority has 25 assembly members which are directly elected by public voting system. The authority was setup in the year 2000 by the GLA Act 1999. The Greater London Authority is responsible for easy transportation that includes better public transport, fire rescue, crime, maintenance of roads and traffic management. On the other hand it is also accountable for the development and planning of the city, police reformation and such social responsibilities.
