To whom it may concern,
My wife and I checked into your hotel on June 23rd and checked out on June 25th on arrival we had 517 Canadian Dollars frozen from our Currency card by your receptionist called Mynan who didn't tell us how much she had swiped our card for and it wasn't until we checked our account that we noticed how much had been taken. We complained to her later and was told she had made a mistake with the amount and could not do anything about it as a result the amount we had to enjoy our holiday was drastically reduced. We are still awaiting this amount to be put back into to our currency card which is too late since we are now back in Scotland. When are we getting our money back?On the night of our arrival there was a function on and in the corridor leading to our room there were many young drunken youths loitering which made us apprehensive especially when our room was right next to some of them. This is totally unacceptable fir both Marriott and Delta standards. During our stay at your hotel we came down with a skin rash which we think may have been caused by bedbugs. I also noticed that on parts of the hotel corridor there was no wallpaper just bare concrete not the thing you would expect from a DeltaWe were staying in room 645 for your reference and our rooms had been prepaid by us so why all this hassle especially since we did not occur any bills?This is not the standard I would expect of any Delta or Marriott hotel in the way we are being treated. Please let me know when we are to get our money back or any form of compensation for your hotel spoiling our holiday?Yours from Scotland, Brian. PS I have worked for 15 in the hotel trade including Aberdeen Marriot so I know this is not acceptable brand standard for a Marriott hotel no matter what the franchise name is.
