What is Court of Queens Bench Edmonton?
Court of Queens Bench is the apex court in Alberta province which is located in Edmonton city. The court hears all kind of cases since it was established in Edmonton in year 1970. Before that it was operated in other Canadian province. The court hears civil, criminal, surrogate matters and all filled cases which are appealed against the jurisdiction of Provincial court of Alberta which includes family law, youth, civil and traffic laws. The court has a power to hear and give any deserving judgment in any case violating the norms of civil and criminal law. The court is also known as the superior court. The court can hear and give its jurisdiction against the judgment of all other courts and boards in Canada. These include labour boards, human rights commission and other authorities. As far as the structure of court is concerned the hierarchy of court consists of one head which is Chief Justice, later an Associate Chief Justice and many other judges.
