History
Corporation Bank began its journey with the name of "Canara Banking Corporation (Udipi) Limited" when "Khan Bahadur Haji Abdulla Haji Kasim Saheb Bahadur" was established the bank on 12th of March 1906 with five thousand rupees only. To get the nationalization, the bank took a long time and eventually on 15th of April 1980, it became nationalized along-with five other private financial institution.
