What is BOAS?
BOA S is the British Ophthalmic Anesthesia Society where the complete and comprehensive treatment of eye patients is done in a Very conducive environment. The treatment is done in modern scientific approach and the faculty members of Boa S are very qualified and experienced ones and have More Than ten years of experience in serving the ophthalmic patients across the world. In BOA S complete and extraordinary precautions are given to the patients before and after the ophthalmic surgery. The BOA S was initiated in the year 1998 by the Dr. Chandra M Kumar and James Cook with the assistance of Dr Sue Bailey, Dr Narinder Dhariwal, Dr Mike Foley, Mr Dave Smerdon, etc. BOA S has the council of members like the Professor Peter Shah, Dr Shashi Vohra, Dr K Allman, etc who are supervising all the activities of BOA S in a well prospected manner.
Functions of BOA S
The prime goal of the British Ophthalmic Anesthesia Society is to assure that proper quality anesthesia care is offered to ophthalmic patients who are under cataract and other ophthalmic surgical treatment. The BOA S is committed to assuring that anesthesiologists, ophthalmologists, nurse anesthetists, etc are enhanced with the proper training and quality education which is important for the provision of the standard quality ophthalmic anesthesia services. BOA S is primarily dedicated in maintaining the proper atmosphere between the anesthesiologists and ophthalmologists so that the proper care of ophthalmic patients is taken into consideration. BOA S is providing latest scientific care to its patients in ensuring that proper ophthalmic treatment should be done to its patients. For the convenience of Ophthalmic patients BOA S is arranging annual meetings every year in which proper treatment and precaution measures are explained to patients. BOA S is also publishing British Journal of Ophthalmology in which ophthalmology related issued are explained in detail.
