What is Arch of Titus?
The Arch of Titus is the structure that was built in 82 AD by the Roman Emperor Domitian to commemorate his brother, Titus' Victories. It's shape and architecture has inspired many of the later on monuments including Arc De Triomphe in Paris while the others are India Gate, Fusiliers' Arch, National Memorial Arch etc. It is located on the Velian Hill. It is 50m tall and includes two panels with reliefs: One shows the Victory procession with the spoils taken from the Second Temple in Jerusalem while the another one depicts Titus in a chariot with the goddess Victoria and the goddess Roma.
