What is ANA Airlines?
ANA Airline, traded as All Nippon Airways Corporation Limited is one of the leading air Carrier in Japan. The Airline has established its head office in Shiodome area, Tokyo, Japan. It serves 49 domestic locations in the country and 32 International destinations. The Airline had approximately 33,000 employees till the end of 2013. Its total passenger traffic increases year after year; In 2010, it grew to 7.8 %.
ANA Airline was started on 27 December 1952 and its main hubs are located at Haneda Airport, Kansai International Airport, Narita International Airport and Itami Airport. It operates 203 aircrafts including a Boeing 787-9 aircraft, 35 Boeing 767-300ER aircrafts and 14 Airbus A320-211 aircrafts. Moreover, ANA Airline has nine Cargo aircrafts. It is also famous for special livery aircraft; some of them are Pokémon-themed Jets, Gundam-themed Boeing and Woody Woodpecker themed Boeing. The Airline has four subsidiaries; these are ANA Wings, Air Japan, Vanilla Air and Pan Am International Flight Academy. It has codeshare agreements with five domestic and 29 International airlines including Air Canada, Air New Zealand, Austrian Airlines, Jet Airways, Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways and US Airways.
