What is Aicte Contact?
AICTE stands for All India Council for Technical Education is a constitutional body which was formed in November 1945 as "national level Apex Advisory Body" but in 1987 it got the status of constitutional body. It acts as a council for technical education on the national-level. It provides reorganization or accreditation to several technical education institutes in India which belongs to training and research in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Town Planning, Management, Pharmacy, Applied Arts and Crafts, Hotel Management and Catering Technology etc. AICTE is consists of eight divisions namely Administration Bureau, Academic Bureau, Engineering and Technology Bureau, Finance Bureau, Management and Technology Bureau, Planning and Co-ordination Bureau, Quality Assurance Bureau, Research and Institutional Development Bureau. AICTE acts under Ministry of Human Resource Development and Department of Higher Education. Excluding Delhi its other state branches are situated in Chennai, Kolkata, Kanpur,Chandigarh, Mumbai, Guwahati, Bangalore, Bhopal, Gurgaon, Thiruvananthapuram and Hyderabad.
