The YMCA was founded by George Williams in 1844. It is a health and wellness union that is authorized through local volunteers which resides in diversified nations. The Young Men's Christian Association has offices in plenty of nations and these all are referred to as the volunteers of the YMCA, and their integrated form or set is recognized as the World Alliance of all YMCA's. This association is determinate to Empower young people and aimed to put Christian principles into practice by developing a healthy body, mind and spirit. YMCA Regina Rochdale Financial Assistance for Membership
YMCA of Regina would like all members of the community to take part in its programs and enjoy it’s facilities and services regardless of economic circumstance. Financial Assistance is available for those who feel they would benefit from joining the YMCA but are financially unable, not unwilling, to pay the full general membership fees. Our Financial Assistance Program is supported by dollars raised annually through our Strong Kids Campaign. It is through the generosity of our YMCA family and friends that everyone can have a YMCA experience.
