History:
The company was founded in 1989 and listed on the London Stock Exchange. In 2006, the company was acquired for around 8 billion of UK Pounds by the Kemble Water Holdings Ltd.
Thames Water shared its 13% of stock with
BT Pension Scheme, 8.5% stock with China Investment Corporation, and 9.8% shares with the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority.
