Mu husband and I took a flight from Paris to Lisbon with your airline on Jan seven 2019. Our son was also travelling from Paris to Lisbon with us. We had previously booked a flight Toronto to Lisbon (Dec 17/18) and Lisbon to Toronto (Jan 7/19). Then decided to go to join our son in Paris. As he was already booked on the TAP flight from Paris to Lisbon, my husband and I decided to book on the same connecting flight. Then there was a flight delay out of Paris with our TAP flight to Lisbon due to a mechanical problem. We were getting a connecting TAP flight and presumed we were fine and the flight would just be held for the short time. We were wrong. When we arrived In Lisbon 20-30 min before take off we were told we could not make the connecting flight. Since our son had booked his flight Paris-Lisbon-Toronto, he got a hotel for the night and was re routed through Amsterdam to Toronto. We were stranded. Your manger on duty was excellent, but couldn't help us and we had to buy new tickets back to Toronto (Jan 8/19), the next day for about $2000 )we were not happy)
However, we have spoken to our visa card Company and they said they may be able to refund us some of the money if TAP provides us with a letter saying the flight delay was due to your mechanical issue. Can you please email me a letter regarding this to my email:
