What is Rspca London?
RSPCA stands for Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is a social organization which came into existence in 1824. It is one of the oldest animal welfare organizations headquartered in Southwater, West Sussex, England, and majorly serves the area of England and Wales. Its major work is to promote animal welfare, and also inspects cruelty complaints against animals. As per the report, the company investigated 150,883 cruelty complaints since its establishment. The company has setup many centers in Norfolk, Somerset and Cheshire where they rescue animals and rehabilitate them. As per the report, the organization assists more than 55,459 animals in the year. Rspca has more 1500 volunteers and other staff members. It accepts all types of animals including laboratory animals, farm animals, wildlife animals, pets etc. RSPCA is among the largest animals welfare organizations founded by Richard Martin and his co-partners: William Wiberforce, Reverend and Arthur Broome. This organization is funded by many local and international organizations. It has tie-up with various such other organization like Scottish Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Dublin Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Royal New Zealand Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals etc. RSPCA branches are operated throughout England and Wales, few of them are registered individually.
