Proton Holdings Berhad, simply known as Proton is an automotive industry which is designated for designing, manufacturing and marketing of vast collection of motor vehicles. It started its business functions in the year of 1983 on May, 7 and was traces by Malaysian politician named as Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohammad. The Very first model of the company was launched on July 9, 1985 under the brand name Proton Saga. Although, Proton is based in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia, its manufacturing plant is located in Tanjung Malim, Perak. It began its journey as sole national car company and today, it becomes leading automobile manufacture which is continue to spanning its business across the entire nation. The full spectrum of models offered by the company includes Suprima S, Preve, Exora Prime, Satria Neo, Inspira and other. It currently serves the regions of Southeast Asia, China, Australia, United Kingdom, Middle East and South Africa.
