What is Ka-bar?
Kabar is the Company that manufactures strong and Sharp fighting Knives mostly used by Soldiers. Kabar has its collaboration with Cutco Company. The Company designed its first knife in the year 1942. Kabar is the name of the Company and name of its product also. Generally, the appearance of the knife is More Than one pound in weight, more than 10 inches long and approximately blade length of seven inches. These knives were used in so many wars like World War II, Gulf War, Afghanistan war, Iraq War and in many wars more. One of the famous knife is USMC Knife which was designed in the year 1942 and is still used by soldiers. All knives are checked and tested before supplying.
How Kabar Knives are Made
The first step is Blanking in which the blade are selected from a

After Blanking all the information related to blades is carved on the knives like model no, manufacturing date, etc. This process is called as Tang Stamping. once the stamping is over blades are put in highly per-heated oven for tempering and checking of Steel quality. It takes more than one hour to Complete one cycle. Grinding process is used to grind sharpness of the knife. Then Kabar uses a oval shaped leather device to check Knife Compression, After compression the pin is attached on the knife handle to hold grip. The Last two steps include quality checks and testing of the knife.
