What is Iowa EBT?
Iowa EBT (Iowa Electronic Benefit Transfer) is an electronic payment method, which is used by the state government. The Government monthly transfers Benefits to the account of beneficiaries of various programs. These programs include health care programs, Medicare programs, food assistance programs and child care programs. These programs are offered to low income families, pregnant women, children (less than eighteen) and disabled persons. The Iowa Government has specified the minimum requirements to be eligible for the programs.

Iowa EBT operates through EBT card, a plastic card. It is similar to bank's debit card. The cards provide the easy access to their benefit account.
