Recently purchased 1. 75 captain morgan rum in sufficient quantity to qualify for $20. Rebate. Sent all required information to inmar rebate center del rio tx. Recently received a notice from them denying the request because they said that I didn't identify the items qualifying for the rebate on the register receipt. They said that they were not returning the original submission materials to me. Two questions--without the original receipt which they required I send to them initially how do I know that I didn't comply with their rules. Also, without the receipt that they still have, how do I now indicate the purchases qualifying for the rebate. I have purchased many bottles of Captain Morgan in the past, but feel the current rebate problem has left a bad taste in my mouth that more than likely can only be washed away by some of your competitors rum in the future. You may want to reconsider using inmar rebate center in the future since they appear to alienate your customers rather than produce the goodwill that a rebate program is intended for.
