History
WebEX commenced its business in the name ActiveTouch. Min Zhu and Subrah Iyar were the co-founders of WebEX. In the year 2007 Cisco system acquired WebEX. The software was first owned by Laplink. The software was used to run offline web browsing that is now commercial used in every web browsers. Laplink sold the rights of WebEX in the year 1999.
