What is amos oz?
Amos Oz is a reputed writer and journalist of Israeli nationality. He writes novels and renders his services for Ben-Gurion University in Beersheba as a professor of literature. He was born on May 4, 1939 in Jerusalem, Mandatory Palestine. He was felicitated with many awards including Bialik Prize in the year 1986, Peace Prize of the German Book Trade, Legion of Honour, Israel Prize in 1989, Ovid Prize, Goethe Prize, Prince of Asturias Award in Literature in 2007, Heinrich Heine Prize in 2008 and other notable awards. Amos Oz has written many books including Non-fiction, Fiction and Short stories.
